Garbage & Trash Services

The City of Citronelle contracts with WASTEPRO for residential garbage service. New residents are automatically signed up for garbage service when they activate their water account at South Alabama Utilities. Curbside service for residential garbage is once per week. Household Garbage: containers, bags and containerized rubbish must be placed curbside by 7:00 a.m. on the designated collection days. Refuse on any one pickup day must not exceed three (3) cubic yards from any one Residential Unit.

• Each Container, Cart and/or Bag and Rubbish shall be placed at curbside for collection. Curbside refers to that portion of right-of-way adjacent to paved or traveled City Roadways.



• Containers, Carts, Bags and Rubbish must be placed as close to the roadway as practicable without interfering with or endangering the movement of vehicles or interfering with or endangering the movement of vehicles or pedestrians.
